  • Celtic complete signing of Yang Hyun-jun from Gangwon

Celtic have completed the signing of South Korean attacker Yang Hyun-jun from Gangwon, subject to international clearance.

The 21-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year contract until 2028 and moves to Parkhead for a fee believed to be in the region of £2m.

Yang becomes Brendan Rodgers's third signing of the summer transfer window following the arrivals of attacker Marco Tilio from Melbourne City and midfielder Odin Thiago Holm from Valerenga Fotball.

Man United, West Ham dealt blow in Leon Goretzka pursuit

Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka has ruled out leaving the Allianz Arena this summer amid reported interest from Manchester United and West Ham United.

The 28-year-old has spent the last five seasons with the Bavarian giants since joining from Schalke 04, recording 34 goals and 35 assists in 179 appearances across all competitions.

Goretzka has been a key cog in the Bayern machine that has won 13 trophies since 2018, including five Bundesliga titles, two DFB-Pokals and one Champions League.

However, speculation over the German's long-term future in Bavaria has surfaced in recent weeks, with one report claiming that Bayern are willing to entertain offers for the box-to-box midfielder.

Gray to reject Saudi Arabia move to join Palace?

Demarai Gray has reportedly knocked back interest from Saudi Arabia in favour of a move to Crystal Palace.

The Everton winger has been the subject of interest from Premier League clubs as well as Al-Hilal this summer, but a move to Selhurst Park appears to be his preference.

Gray lost his place in the Everton side when Sean Dyche arrived as manager, with Dwight McNeil taking his place on the left wing.

The recent acquisitions of Arnaut Danjuma and Ashley Young may push Gray further down the pecking order too, as Everton appear willing to let the 27-year-old leave.

Kieran Tierney admits Arsenal future is out of his control

Kieran Tierney has insisted that he remains "happy" at Arsenal but has admitted that his future at the club is out of his control.

The 26-year-old left-back joined the Gunners from Celtic for around £25m in the summer of 2019, but he has struggled with injuries and a lack of regular first-team football during his time in North London.

Tierney was reduced to just 15 starts across all tournaments in the 2022-23 campaign and he was pushed down the pecking order following the arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko last summer.

The Scotland international has been handed just four starts since the turn of the year and speculation over his long-term future at the Emirates Stadium is rife.

PSG 'ready to accept world-record €300m Mbappe bid from Al-Hilal'

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly ready to accept a world-record €300m (£259.3m) bid from Al-Hilal for star forward Kylian Mbappe.

The 24-year-old, widely regarded as one of the best players in world football, is facing an uncertain future at the Parc des Princes as he has entered the final year of his contract.

PSG were left stunned earlier this month when Mbappe handed in a letter confirming that he has no intention of activating the extension to his contract until 2025, allowing him to depart the French giants for free in the summer of 2024.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has since stated that Mbappe would need to sign a new deal or the Ligue 1 champions will look to sell the forward this summer.

Everton 'facing competition from Atalanta for Toure'

Everton are reportedly facing a direct battle with Atalanta BC for the services of Almeria striker El Bilal Toure.

After a troubled season where the Toffees struggled in front of goal, Sean Dyche made his feelings clear following the end of the campaign about adding firepower to the squad.

Neal Maupay scored just once during 2022-23 but has played in both of Everton's pre-season friendlies so far against Stade Nyonnais and Wigan Athletic.

First-choice striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin missed the final game of the season against Bournemouth and is currently still on the road back to full fitness.

Transfer rumours: Toure to Everton, Hudson-Odoi to Fulham, Sabitzer to Dortmund

Everton are reportedly set to rival Atalanta BC for the signature of Almeria striker El Bilal Toure this summer.

The 21-year-old only joined Almeria last summer, penning a six-year contract until 2028, and he scored seven goals in 21 La Liga appearances in his debut campaign in 2022-23.

Nevertheless, Toure has caught the eye of a number of clubs this summer including Everton, who are on the hunt for a new number nine to provide competition for injury-prone Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

According to Sky Sports News, Everton have entered advanced negotiations with Almeria to sign Toure and a decision over the striker's future is expected to be made within the next 48 hours.

Liverpool 'preparing monumental bid for Mbappe'

Liverpool are reportedly open to making a substantial offer for Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.

Throughout this summer, the focus of manager Jurgen Klopp has been to add at least two new central midfielders to his squad, as well as another defender at either right-back or centre-back.

As it stands, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai have arrived for what is alleged to be a combined total of £95m, the pair expecting to be key men in the engine room and final third respectively.

However, Klopp faces the prospect of his midfield being sent into further disarray with each of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson allegedly on the brink of signing for Saudi Arabian clubs.

Watford's Ismaila Sarr heading for Marseille medical

Spurs owner 'delivers Kane ultimatum to Levy'

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Joe Lewis has allegedly informed chairman Daniel Levy that the club cannot afford to lose Harry Kane on a free transfer.

With the all-time leading goalscorer having not shown any willingness to pen fresh terms, his contract is currently due to expire at the end of 2023-24.

Numerous outlets have reiterated that Levy is prepared to play hardball over the forward's future, despite interest from German giants Bayern Munich.

The Bundesliga champions are already said to have failed with two offers for the England international, a bid in the region of €80m (£68.98m) not enough to tempt Spurs into a sale.

Zaha posts emotional Crystal Palace farewell ahead of Galatasaray move

Wilfried Zaha has posted an emotional farewell to Crystal Palace supporters ahead of his expected free transfer to Turkish giants Galatasaray.

The 30-year-old attacker is currently a free agent after seeing his Eagles contract expire at the end of June, and he departs Selhurst Park after making 458 appearances across two spells with the South London club, scoring 90 goals and registering 76 assists.

Chelsea 'submit bid for Crystal Palace's Michael Olise'

Chelsea have reportedly made a formal approach for Crystal Palace midfielder Michael Olise, who has a release clause in his contract.

While 13 players from last season's first-team squad are no longer at Stamford Bridge, only two have been signed as replacements.

Newly-appointed head coach Mauricio Pochettino has reiterated on more than one occasion that he wishes to make additions to his group before the start of the new campaign.

With Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson having been acquired to strengthen Chelsea's attacking ranks, the expectation is that focus will now be placed on a new central defender and midfielder.
