Manchester United chiefs have warned agents that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's job in the dugout is safe, according to a report.

The Red Devils have taken just one point from their last three Premier League encounters and found themselves 2-0 down against Atalanta BC in the Champions League before launching a storming comeback.

As a result, Solskjaer's future is once again being called into question, with Premier League and Serie A winning coach Antonio Conte reportedly interested in taking over at Old Trafford.

However, The Sun claims that United have sought to repel agents offering their services to hunt for Solskjaer's successor, with the Norwegian's job secure for the time being.

The report adds that several United players are questioning whether Solskjaer is taking the club in the right direction, though, with Bruno Fernandes supposedly demanding that the manager change tactics at half time against Atalanta.

Solskjaer's Red Devils will seek to end their worst run of conceding for over 50 years when they welcome Liverpool to Old Trafford for Sunday's Premier League battle. body check tags ::
