Manchester United fans 'planning more anti-Glazer protests'

Manchester United fans are reportedly planning more anti-Glazer protests outside Old Trafford before the season is over.

Manchester United supporters are reportedly planning further protests against the Glazer family following the postponement of their proposed fixture with Liverpool at the weekend.

Fans broke into Old Trafford before United were due to play host to the champions on Sunday, and the game was ultimately called off after scenes turned violent outside the ground.

A police officer was left needing emergency treatment following the demonstration, and one man has been arrested as fans call for Joel and Avram Glazer to step down.

Man United could supposedly be facing a points deduction and other sanctions for failing to ensure player and staff safety, but the Manchester Evening News claims that more protests are being planned regardless.

The report states that fans are likely to protest against the Glazers before their home battle with Leicester City on May 12, while their meeting with Fulham a week later could also be preceded by anti-Glazer demonstrations.

Man United have insisted that they will ban any supporters found to be involved in criminal or violent behaviour during Sunday's protest. body check tags ::
