Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's FA Cup clash with Tranmere Rovers.

Manchester United will be looking to book their spot in the fifth round of the FA Cup when they travel to League One side Tranmere Rovers on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils progressed to the fourth round courtesy of a 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on January 15 but have lost both of their Premier League games since.

Indeed, successive 2-0 defeats to Liverpool and Burnley have seen them fall six points off the top four in the Premier League table.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side will have a huge advantage on Sunday afternoon, though, with Tranmere only booking their spot in the fourth round of this competition with a 2-1 win over Watford on Thursday night, needing extra time to advance.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash.

Paul Pogba

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: February 17 (vs. Chelsea)

Paul Pogba has undergone ankle surgery and is expected to be on the sidelines for the next month. As a result, the France international, who continues to be linked with a move away from Old Trafford, might not be available for selection until the Premier League clash with Chelsea on February 17.

Marcus Rashford

Status: Out
Type of injury: Back
Possible return date: Unknown

Marcus Rashford is not expected to return until at least March having suffered a stress fracture to his back against Wolves on January 15. The England international had been in fine form for the Red Devils, scoring 19 times in all competitions this term, and his absence is a huge blow.

Scott McTominay

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Scott McTominay has been on the sidelines since picking up a knee injury against Newcastle United on Boxing Day. The Scotland international was recently ruled out for "a few months" by Solskjaer, suggesting that he might not be ready to return until March.

Axel Tuanzebe

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: February 17 (vs. Chelsea)

Axel Tuanzebe has been out with a hamstring problem since the middle of December but is thought to be making progress in his recovery and could be available for the clash with Chelsea on February 17.

Marcos Rojo

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: February 17 (vs. Chelsea)

Marcos Rojo has been restricted to just nine appearances this season due to a muscular problem. The Argentine has not been involved in the Premier League since November 10, meanwhile, and he will again be unavailable for selection this weekend.

MANCHESTER UNITED'S SUSPENSION LIST

United have no players suspended for the FA Cup fourth-round fixture.
