Eden Hazard's record vs. Manchester United

As Chelsea prepare to face off against Manchester United in the FA Cup final, Sports Mole looks at Eden Hazard's past record in this fixture.

Chelsea will attempt to salvage their season on Saturday afternoon when they take on Manchester United in the final of the FA Cup.

Antonio Conte's second campaign in West London has so far been one to forget, yet victory at Wembley Stadium this weekend would help the Blues' under-performing players redeem themselves somewhat.

Among those unable to hit the same levels as last season is Eden Hazard, who still arguably remains Chelsea's main attacking threat.

Here, Sports Mole looks at the Belgian forward's record in this fixture since arriving in English football six years ago.

Three days after firing a blank in Chelsea's 3-2 loss to United on home soil in his maiden campaign at Stamford Bridge, Hazard introduced himself to Blues supporters by netting one and assisting another from the bench in his side's EFL Cup last-16 triumph against the same opponents.

The 27-year-old also scored in that season's FA Cup quarter-final clash, curling the ball past David de Gea to help his side to a replay which they would go on to win.

Hazard has not had quite so much joy in the 11 Premier League encounters, however, scoring in just two of those - a 1-0 home win in the 2014-15 season and 4-0 triumph a little over a year later.

Chelsea fans will note that the former Lille ace has been on the losing side against United on just three occasions, meanwhile, although one of those was in the most recent clash as the Red Devils triumphed 2-1 in February.
