Riyad Mahrez has revealed that he has no plans to leave Manchester City and wants to end his career with the newly-crowned Premier League champions.

The 30-year-old has been a vital player for the Citizens during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 14 times and registering seven assists in 45 appearances in all competitions.

In total, Mahrez has featured on 139 occasions for Man City since arriving from Leicester City in 2018, scoring 39 goals and registering 35 assists for Pep Guardiola's side.

The Algeria international supported Marseille as a child, but when asked whether he would like to finish his career with the French club, the attacker revealed that he wanted to retire in England.

"No, it's not something I'd say (finish his career at Marseille). I want to finish my career in England and at Manchester City." Mahrez told RMC.

The former Le Havre youngster has scored four goals and registered two assists in 11 Champions League appearances this season and is expected to be in Man City's starting XI for the final against Chelsea. body check tags ::
