Liverpool have reportedly lined up two potential January deals for PSV Eindhoven attacker Johan Bakayoko and Fluminense midfielder Andre.

The Reds wrapped up their summer spending by signing Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich on transfer deadline day.

Netherlands international Gravenberch completed a £34.2m transfer and put pen to paper on a five-year contract until June 2028.

Gravenberch became Liverpool's fourth summer signing following the additions of Wataru Endo, Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister.

While the transfer window may be closed until the winter, Liverpool have already started to draw up plans for the January market.

According to The Express, the Reds have identified Bakayoko and Andre as two potential targets for the winter transfer window.

The report suggests that Bakayoko could be a long-term replacement for Mohammed Salah, who has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia.

Liverpool have already rejected a £150m offer from Al Ittihad, but there is a belief that the Saudi Pro League side could raise their offer to a world-record £200m.

While the Saudi Arabian transfer window is open until September 7, Liverpool are hoping to retain Salah's services until at least next summer.

With uncertainty surrounding Salah's future, Liverpool could make an attempt to sign Bakayoko from PSV in January.

The winger was subject to a £34.2m bid from Brentford in the closing stages of the summer transfer window, but he rejected the move in order to play Champions League football with PSV.

The Dutch club, who have been drawn in a group alongside Arsenal, Lens and Sevilla, could receive offers for Bakayoko in January if they are unable to reach the knockout stage of the Champions League.

Andre, meanwhile, was identified as a target this summer, but a move was difficult to pull off due to Fluminense's progress in the Copa Libertadores, where they have advanced to the quarter-final stage.

With Thiago Alcantara out of contract at the end of the season and likely to leave as a free agent, Liverpool may decide to revisit a potential deal for Andre in the January window.

The 22-year-old reportedly has a £34m release clause in his Fluminense contract, but Liverpool could attempt to negotiate a lower fee in January. body check tags ::
