Derby County manager Frank Lampard has admitted that the club is "in limbo" regarding the future of striker Matej Vydra.

The Czech Republic international scored 21 goals in the Championship last season as the Rams reached the playoff semi-finals.

Vydra has been linked with a number of clubs including second-tier rivals Leeds United, but Lampard has claimed that no offers have been received for the forward.

"He's a good player but at the moment we are in limbo but it should pan out in the next few days," Lampard told Sky Sports News.

"We need clarity though before the start of the season. There are people interested in him but he's our player. There haven't been any offers as far I know."

Vydra, formerly of Watford and Udinese, has been on Derby's books since August 2016.
