Cristiano Ronaldo left the Allianz Stadium early after being substituted by Maurizio Sarri during Juventus's 1-0 victory over AC Milan on Sunday, according to a report.

Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly left the Allianz Stadium early after being substituted during Juventus's game with AC Milan on Sunday.

The Portuguese international was taken off after 55 minutes by Maurizio Sarri for Paulo Dybala, who went on to score the winner for the Old Lady 13 minutes from time.

Juve's 1-0 win kept them one point ahead of Inter Milan at the top of the Serie A table heading into the international break, although the headlines were all about Ronaldo's actions.

Corriere dello Sport reports that after being hauled off, Ronaldo said something in Portuguese to the bench before heading straight to the locker room, showering and leaving.

Sunday's game marked the second consecutive fixture in which the 34-year-old had left the field early after Sarri also took him off during their Champions League win over Lokomotiv Moscow last week.

Prior to the club's last two games, Ronaldo had only been substituted twice before during his stint with Juventus and both changes came well after the hour mark.
