Tunisia vs. Australia (Saturday, 10.00am)

Australia will be bidding to bounce back from their heavy defeat to France when they continue their World Cup Group D campaign against Tunisia on Saturday.

The Socceroos suffered a 4-1 loss to France in their opening match of the competition on Tuesday, while Tunisia played out a goalless draw with Denmark in their first game of the 2022 tournament.

We say: Tunisia 1-1 Australia

This is a really difficult match to call, and it would certainly not be a surprise to see a Tunisia or an Australia victory on Saturday. There is every chance that this will be a tight and cagey affair, though, and we are struggling to separate the two teams, backing a low-scoring draw in the Group D contest.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Poland vs. Saudi Arabia (Saturday, 1.00pm)

Poland take on surprise group-leaders Saudi Arabia on Saturday, in a crucial battle for qualification in Group C.

Robert Lewandowski missed a penalty as the Bialo-czerwoni drew 0-0 to Mexico in Tuesday's opener, while their opponents beat Argentina to pull off one of the greatest World Cup upsets in living memory.

We say: Poland 1-1 Saudi Arabia

Only a will win really do for Poland here, so we expect them to play more expansively and aggressively in search of an all-important three points.

Saudi Arabia, however, have proven that they can beat anyone, and we think they should have enough to frustrate their opponents and take another huge step to qualification.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

France vs. Denmark (Saturday, 4.00pm)

France can seal a place in the knockout stages of the 2022 World Cup when they resume Group D duties against Denmark at Stadium 974 on Saturday evening.

Les Bleus thumped Australia 4-1 this week to kick off the defence of their crown in perfect fashion, while Kasper Hjulmand's men were held to a goalless draw by Tunisia.

We say: France 2-0 Denmark

Having been written off by many before the World Cup kicked off, France now have the wind in their sails after an emphatic opening-day victory, and their squad is still a hugely formidable one despite their plethora of injury concerns.

Denmark's spate of positive results against France both in and outside of the World Cup should lead to some optimism within the Red and Whites' ranks, but a largely toothless attacking performance versus Tunisia has not set them up well for a meeting with the holders, who we think will march on to the last 16 in comfortable fashion.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Argentina vs. Mexico (Saturday, 7.00pm)

With their World Cup hopes already on the line, Argentina seek to overcome their opening game calamity on Saturday, as they tackle Group C rivals Mexico.

While the Albiceleste kicked off their quest for a third global crown by losing to rank outsiders Saudi Arabia, their Central American counterparts survived a scare to draw with Poland on Tuesday.

We say: Argentina 2-1 Mexico

The last time Argentina were beaten in their first World Cup match was back in 1990, when Maradona ultimately went on to lead his side to the final. Faced by both the expectation of a football-mad nation and a transitional Mexico team, this Messi-led Albiceleste can now earn a vital first victory of the 2022 edition - but it will not prove a straightforward procedure.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
