Liverpool and Chelsea are reportedly both interested in signing £30m-rated Ajax centre-midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.

Georginio Wijnaldum is out of contract at Anfield in the summer and is yet to sign a new contract with the Reds, leaving Jurgen Klopp looking for a replacement.

Gravenberch has helped Ajax to the top of the Eredivisie, 11 points clear of second-placed PSV Eindhoven with seven games to play.

Reports in The Express claim that Chelsea are also interested in the 18-year-old, with Thomas Tuchel potentially looking to add youth to his midfield.

The youngster is a regular starter for Erik ten Hag's side, making 37 appearances this season, scoring four goals and providing six assists.

Gravenberch joined Ajax in 2019 with his current contract running until the summer of 2023. body check tags ::
