Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink wants Chelsea to sign Wilfried Zaha, Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink thinks that Chelsea will raid Crystal Palace for Wilfried Zaha and Aaron Wan-Bissaka if they are given the green light to sign new players.

Former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has tipped his old club to move for Crystal Palace pair Wilfried Zaha and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Blues are still waiting to find out if they can add to their squad in the summer, having lodged a fresh appeal against the two-window ban handed to them by FIFA.

Should the Court of Arbitration for Sport rule that Chelsea can sign new players, Hasselbaink hopes that they table offers for Palace's in-demand duo Zaha and Wan-Bissaka, who are both coming off the back of impressive individual campaigns.

"If Chelsea don't have a transfer ban, I think they will target two Crystal Palace players," he told your-promotional-code.co.uk. "Firstly, Aaron Wan-Bissaka can push Cesar Azpilicueta for a starting place and will learn a lot from him. He's a very good right-back and can defend very well.

"And then Wilfried Zaha brings the excitement. If Eden Hazard goes, you need somebody to take players on. Yes, they have Callum Hudson-Odoi but any good side needs four wide players, especially if something happens to Pedro or Willian.

"I think it will be difficult for Crystal Palace to keep them, with all due respect. If they're going to go, I think it's best for them to stay in London. Zaha had a difficult move to Manchester United that didn't work out so I think it'd be good for him to stay in London."

Speaking after Palace's 5-3 win over Bournemouth on the final day of the Premier League season, manager Roy Hodgson talked up the importance of keeping Zaha and Wan-Bissaka at Selhurst Park.
