Burnley are preparing an offer for Dinamo Zagreb's Mislav Orsic, according to a report.

The Clarets sold Chris Wood to Newcastle United in this transfer window, and therefore have the funds to bring in some fresh faces for the second half of the season.

The Croatian midfielder is one man that they have their eye on, with the Zagreb star having made 16 appearances in the league this season, scoring five times.

According to a report from The Sun, Burnley are preparing to try and sign Orsic, with a £10m bid being put together by the club.

However, they face competition to land his signature from within the Premier League, as Arsenal are also interested in trying to purchase the 29-year-old.
