Sports Mole

Luton vs. Swansea (Saturday, 12.15pm)

Swansea City will attempt to break back into the Championship top two when they travel to Luton Town on Saturday afternoon.

The Swans are currently in third, only behind second-placed Watford on goal difference and with a game in hand over the Hornets.

We say: Luton Town 0-2 Swansea City

Luton appear to have become more stable since their wobble at the start of 2021 but like last weekend, this game may be another instance of the Hatters simply being outclassed by superior opposition. Swansea are not playing at their best, but they are grinding out results – a vital trait to have if they are to win promotion.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Bournemouth vs. Barnsley (Saturday, 3.00pm)

There is a huge game on the south coast in the race for the Championship playoffs on Saturday as Bournemouth host Barnsley.

With 11 games of the season left to play for the majority of clubs, the Cherries are currently in seventh position in England's second tier, two points behind the Tykes in sixth.

We say: Bournemouth 1-0 Barnsley

While we are only in March, this game really could prove vital in deciding who takes a playoff spot. With that in mind, both teams may be a little more conservative in their play than usual, and it is likely to be decided by one goal. Bournemouth will have had more preparation after not playing in midweek so we think that the hosts will snatch it.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Birmingham vs. Bristol City (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Birmingham City play host to Bristol City on Saturday afternoon looking to move clear of the Championship relegation zone.

Meanwhile, the visitors head into the fixture at St Andrew's having lost their last two matches, results which have left the Robins 13 points adrift of the playoffs.

We say: Birmingham City 1-1 Bristol City

There is an argument that a draw would not suit either club, especially Bristol City who will only challenge for the top six with a lengthy winning streak. That said, we feel that Saturday's game will end in a low-scoring draw, the visitors potentially finding their equaliser during the latter stages.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Cardiff vs. Watford (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Watford travel to Cardiff City in the Championship on Saturday for what will be the first meeting in South Wales between the two sides since February 2019 in the Premier League.

The Hornets are hoping to consolidate their position in the automatic promotion places with a win this weekend, while the Bluebirds are looking to extend their 11-match unbeaten run.

We say: Cardiff City 1-1 Watford

Both sides head into this Championship encounter in good form and have hopes of keeping their momentum going this weekend. Cardiff were able to frustrate Watford last time out, and we can see the Bluebirds causing problems once again, with a score draw on the cards.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Derby vs. Millwall (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Derby County host Millwall in the Championship on Saturday afternoon and are looking to complete a league double over the Lions for the first time since the 1968-69 season.

Meanwhile, Gary Rowett's side head to Pride Park having won their last two visits there by a 1-0 scoreline.

We say: Derby County 0-0 Millwall

Both Derby and Millwall will be keen to address their current form and get back to winning ways on Saturday.

The hosts are yet to score in March and will be looking to find their shooting boots against a Lions outfit that have conceded in each of their last four matches; with little to separate the two teams, we can see a draw being played out at Pride Park.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or draw.

Middlesbrough vs. Stoke (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Middlesbrough and Stoke City square off in the Championship on Saturday afternoon with just two points separating the clubs in the standings.

Both teams have claimed just one win in four matches, increasing the need for maximum points to be collected from the fixture at the Riverside Stadium.

We say: Middlesbrough 1-1 Stoke City

With relegation not on their radar, both clubs have the freedom to push for victory in the North-East. However, attacking has not necessarily been their strong point, leading us to predict a low-scoring draw at the Riverside Stadium.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or draw.

Nott'm Forest vs. Reading (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Reading will be looking to continue their recent winning run and cement their place in the Championship playoffs when they travel to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

The Royals are fifth in the table, four points clear of Bournemouth in seventh, while Forest have suffered a dip in form and are 17th.

We say: Nottingham Forest 0-1 Reading

Reading seem to have found their form again at just the right time, while Forest have done the opposite and are now going through a tricky patch; for that reason, we think that the Royals will get all three points but in keeping with the Reds' recent matches, it should be a low-scoring affair.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

QPR vs. Huddersfield (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Queens Park Rangers head into Saturday's fixture with Huddersfield Town looking for the victory which would keep the club in the Championship playoff race.

Meanwhile, the visitors, who are down in 19th position, are currently on a four-match winless streak in the second tier, a run which has kept the Terriers in a relegation battle.

We say: Queens Park Rangers 2-1 Huddersfield Town

Given their away record this season, there is no reason to believe that Huddersfield will upset the odds at the weekend. With that in mind, we are backing QPR to grind out a hard-fought win as they bid to remain in the playoff hunt.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Wycombe vs. Preston (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Bottom-of-the-table Wycombe Wanderers welcome Preston North End to Adams Park on Saturday afternoon looking to end a four-match losing streak in the Championship.

While the home side look certainties for relegation, Preston sit in 15th position after claiming just one victory in six fixtures.

We say: Wycombe Wanderers 0-2 Preston North End

Wanderers have little choice but to throw caution to the wind on Saturday, something which does not necessarily suit the players at Ainsworth's disposal. With no pressure on Preston, we are backing the visitors to record a relatively comfortable win at Adams Park.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.
