Benjamin Pavard 'offered to Barcelona'

The agent of Stuttgart defender Benjamin Pavard reportedly approaches Barcelona to offer the Spanish champions the chance to sign his client.

The agent of Stuttgart defender Benjamin Pavard has reportedly approached Barcelona to offer the Spanish champions the chance to sign his client at the end of the season.

Pavard, 22, starred for France at the 2018 World Cup, with the defender playing a key role in his country's success at the summer competition.

A number of clubs were linked with moves for the defender in the wake of the tournament, but Stuttgart managed to keep him beyond the end of the summer transfer window.

According to Mundo Deportivo, however, Pavard is likely to move on next summer, and the Frenchman's agent has told Barcelona that they will be able to sign his client for £31m.

Sergi Roberto and Nelson Semedo are currently Barcelona's two senior options at right-back, but only the latter is considered to be a specialist in that position.
