Ronald Koeman hits out at Getafe disrespect after Barcelona defeat

Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman claims that Allan Nyom said a number of 'disrespectful' things to him during Getafe's 1-0 victory on Saturday evening.

Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman has accused Getafe defender Allan Nyom of being disrespectful towards him during Saturday evening's La Liga fixture.

A second-half penalty from Jaime Mata was enough for Getafe to register a 1-0 win, taking his club above the Catalan giants in the standings.

Koeman has since claimed that Nyom shown him "a lack of respect" on multiple occasions during the match, an issue which he addressed with Jose Bordalas at the full-time whistle.

Although the Getafe manager has played down the accusations of his opposite number in the dugout, Koeman commented on the incidents in his press conference.

Speaking to reporters, Koeman said: "I told him (Bordalas) that his number 12 (Nyom) had shown me a lack of respect, he had said two or three very ugly things to me which I won't repeat. He insulted me.

"I told Bordalas that he needs to speak to his player, because we cannot tolerate that type of behaviour in modern football."

Still possessing a game in hand, Barcelona sit in ninth place in the La Liga table ahead of next weekend's El Clasico with Real Madrid.
