Report: Arsenal given hope in pursuit of Barcelona goalkeeper Neto

:Headline: Report: Arsenal given hope in pursuit of Barcelona goalkeeper Neto:
Barcelona goalkeeper Neto reportedly remains a target for Arsenal with two weeks of the January transfer window to go.

Arsenal have reportedly been given hope of signing Neto from Barcelona, despite Ronald Koeman's insistence that the goalkeeper is not for sale.

The Gunners are believed to be seeking a replacement for back-up keeper Alex Runarsson, who is set to depart on loan this month to gain more experience.

Koeman confirmed last week that Neto has asked to leave Camp Nou, but the club have no plans to let him leave in the January window.

However, Mundo Deportivo claims that Arsenal remain confident of striking a deal this month as Neto is represented by agent Kia Joorabchian, who has close links with the Gunners.

Arsenal have yet to make any signings this window, though Sead Kolasinac, William Saliba and Matt Macey have all been loaned out to free up some funds.
