James Rodriguez hints at Real Madrid return

By , Senior Reporter | 3d
James Rodriguez hints that he is likely to return to Real Madrid at the end of his two-year loan spell with Bayern Munich.

James Rodriguez has suggested that it would make sense for him to return to Real Madrid after his loan spell with Bayern Munich.

James is nearing the end of a two-year period with the German giants - who have an option to complete a permanent deal - but the forward has found himself in and out of the side since Nico Kovac's arrival.

Arsenal have also been linked with a move for the Colombia international, but it appears that a return to the Bernabeu could be in the offing.

The 27-year-old is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "In Madrid, I have everything such as my house and people who love me. We will have to see what happens, but at the moment I have a contract with Bayern Munich.

"I just want to finish the season and we'll see what happens. I keep in touch with some Real Madrid players."

Rodriguez has a contract at Real until 2021.
