Hector Bellerin may reportedly be allowed to leave Arsenal on a season-long loan deal this summer.

The long-serving defender is open to taking on a new challenge, a request which has been accepted by the Gunners hierarchy and Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal would prefer to agree a permanent transfer with one of a number of interested clubs, providing that they receive their desired asking price.

However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Premier League outfit are prepared to negotiate a loan move with an obligation to buy.

That arrangement would theoretically suit the likes of Inter Milan, who are looking to replace Achraf Hakimi with a cheaper alternative.

The report claims, however, that the Serie A champions do not want to commit to spending in the region of £20m on the Spaniard next year. body check tags ::
