Arsenal and Everton are reportedly contemplating an approach for Roma midfielder Steven N'Zonzi, who is currently on loan at Rennes.

Roma midfielder Steven N'Zonzi has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Arsenal and Everton.

N'Zonzi has spent the last year on loan at Rennes, making a total of 27 appearances for the French club in all competitions.

With the 32-year-old having no future at his parent club, Foot Mercato claims that talks are underway regarding the termination of his contract.

Any developments may impact Rennes, who would be required to decide whether they wish to retain N'Zonzi's services on a temporary basis or offer him a longer deal.

However, the report claims that Arsenal and Everton are likely to be monitoring the situation ahead of making a bid for the player in January.

The former Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City midfielder made 195 league outings in English football between 2009 and 2015. body check tags ::
