British actor Julian Sands has been missing for almost a week after disappearing during a hike in California.
The 65-year-old, known for films such as A Room With A View and TV shows including 24, was reported missing last Friday evening.
The star is said to have been hiking in the Baldy Bowl hiking area, around 50 miles north of Los Angeles, at the time of his disappearance.
Authorities launched an immediate search-and-rescue operation but were force to abandon their efforts just 24 hours later due to adverse weather conditions and the possibility of avalanches.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's department, who are also looking for another missing hiker on the mountain, confirmed that the search would resume when conditions are safer.
