The 2017 winner, who defeated Venus Williams in the final, will face off with the 28-year-old, whose best singles ranking is 76th.

Meanwhile, top seed Simona Halep will meet Japan's Kumuri Nara, and Serena Williams will play Arnantxa Rus.

Venus Williams will clash with Johanna Larsson, and Johanna Konta will play Natalia Vikhlyantseva.

Fellow British competitor Heather Watson has been drawn to play Kirsten Flipkens, while Katy Dunne will meet Jelena Ostapenko.

The tournament begins on Monday.
