Tottenham Hotspur to play whole season at Wembley?

The Premier League could reportedly force Tottenham Hotspur to play their entire season at Wembley.

Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly be forced into playing their whole season at Wembley as problems with their new stadium continue.

The North London side had already agreed a deal with the Premier League to stage their opening home fixtures of the season at the national stadium with the hopes of moving into the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this month.

Delays with electronics meant that the date was pushed back, however, and according to the Daily Mail, there are now fears that the stadium may not be ready to open until after Christmas.

The newspaper says that the Premier League may now insist that Spurs spend the entire season at Wembley, believing that the ongoing uncertainty "is becoming unfair for supporters, opposition teams and broadcasters".

UEFA has already insisted that Spurs play all three of their Champions League home group games at Wembley, while the EFL is considering a proposal to hold their EFL Cup tie with Watford at MK Dons' stadium.
