Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Cameron John has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Crystal Palace and Leicester City.

While John has previously been tipped to make the breakthrough into the senior setup at Molineux, the youngster is yet to make his first-team debut.

However, after Wolves allowed the 20-year-old to join Doncaster Rovers on loan earlier this summer, the prospect has impressed in his eight outings in all competitions.

According to the Daily Mail, that has resulted in Crystal Palace and Leicester City taking an interest in John's development at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Middlesbrough are also said to be admirers of the left-sided player, whose contract is due to expire at the end of the season.

However, given John's recent performances, Wolves will almost certainly take up their 12-month option on his deal. body check tags ::
