Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Aaron Collins loaned to Colchester United

Wolverhampton Wanderers announce that forward Aaron Collins has been allowed to join Colchester United on a season-long loan deal.

Colchester United have completed the loan signing of Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Aaron Collins.

The U's have just finished in 13th place in League Two, but John McGreal's team only managed 53 goals from their 46 games at the fourth tier.

That has resulted in the Essex-based outfit moving to Collins, who finds himself down the pecking order at Molineux after two-and-a-half years with the West Midlands outfit.

The 21-year-old spent the second half of the most recent campaign on loan at Newport County, although the attacker failed to net in 10 league appearances.

Collins has also spent loan periods at Notts County, Tranmere Rovers and Maidstone United respectively.
