Doncaster sign Thimothee Lo-Tutala on loan from Hull

"I'm just buzzing to be here. I've heard great things from the boys that I know here," he told the club website.

"I've met a few of the boys at the training ground and they welcomed me really well. I'm just excited to get going now."

Manager Grant McCann added: "I'm really pleased with this one. We felt it was important to get a keeper in given the news Ian Lawlor is probably going to be out for the rest of the season which is really disappointing for us.

"He comes with a real high pedigree, he's thought highly of at Hull and had a really good loan last season and helped Stevenage with their promotion to League One.

"We feel it's a really good signing for us that adds competition in that area. We want to keep that department strong."

Fulham 'fail in bid to sign Stuttgart's Silas'

Fulham have reportedly failed in their attempts to sign Stuttgart winger Silas.

The Cottagers are looking to strengthen their squad in the final hours of the transfer window, and their focus appears to be on the final third.

Fulham Marco Silva is keen to bring in a new centre-forward to provide competition to the likes of Raul Jimenez, Rodrigo Muniz and Carlos Vinicius.

"I've come across him before when he was at Sunderland and Portsmouth and in those games he was outstanding. He's a player that can go both inside and outside the pitch, up and down.

"He's a good character, I spoke to John Harley at Portsmouth and one of the players there as well about him and they both gave him glowing recommendations, so I know he's a good kid.

Newcastle announce signing of Man City youngster Harrison

Newcastle United have confirmed the signing of Manchester City winger Alfie Harrison.

As a result of the club's well-documented issues with FFP, the Magpies have been unable to make a first-team addition during the January transfer window.

A late change on that front appears unlikely with Eddie Howe unable to find a suitable fresh face for the engine room, but the North-East outfit have been able to bring in a player who could prove important in the future.

Dyche reveals any deadline day signings are "improbable" at Everton

Everton manager Sean Dyche has told the press it is "improbable" that any new faces will arrive at the club on deadline day.

After not bringing in any players while sitting in the relegation zone last January, Everton look set to be completely inactive in the market once again, with the club lying in the same position.

Everton's non-existent market ventures are of a direct consequence to the two Profitability and Sustainability breaches the club have been charged for by the Premier League, one of which has already resulted in a 10-point penalty.

When asked whether the supporters can expect any incomings today, Dyche replied: "I doubt it, I don't even think it's probable. It's improbable that anyone comes in today."

Fulham 'turn attention to PSG forward Ekitike'

Fulham have reportedly identified Paris Saint-Germain forward Hugo Ekitike as a potential deadline-day signing.

Having sold Aleksandar Mitrovic to Al-Hilal during the summer, Marco Silva has been keen to bring in a new striker before close of business in the current transfer window.

The Cottagers had already been attempting to sign Chelsea's Armando Broja before first-choice frontman Raul Jimenez suffered an injury during the goalless draw against Everton on Tuesday night.

However, despite Ange Postecoglou insisting earlier this week that further arrivals are unlikely, Spurs have continued to be credited with an interest in other players.

Palace boss Hodgson 'has reservations over Cornet deal'

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has reportedly expressed his reservations about going through with a deal that could see Maxwel Cornet join the club.

Cornet has featured very little for West Ham United this season, falling down the pecking order behind the likes of Mohammad Kudus, Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals.

The £17.5m-signing has made just two Premier League appearances for the Hammers under David Moyes this season, one of which was as a 94th-minute substitute on the opening weekend.

Cornet did start in their draw at Sheffield United just over a week ago, given the injuries to Lucas Paqueta and Michail Antonio, with Kudus also away at the Africa Cup of Nations, and he found the net to open the scoring.

Bridge claims that there is no rush when it comes to a deal on deadline day, as Bergvall will not be making a move until this summer's transfer window.

Klopp revealed last week that he would be standing down as Liverpool head coach this summer, and comments from Van Dijk in the aftermath of the shock announcement suggested that the Netherlands international was considering his own future at the club.

Militao has been missing since August, while Alaba suffered his ACL injury in the latter stages of last year and will be absent for the remainder of the 2023-24 campaign.

Earlier this month, Real Madrid are believed to have considered moving a centre-back, and it has been claimed in recent days that the club were eyeing a potential late swoop for Varane.

Who could be on the move today?

It has been a quiet January transfer window on the whole so far - especially compared to the Chelsea-led spending of this time last year, but there could still be a few notable transfers going through today.

Once again, Chelsea may take centre stage, but this time for outgoings with the future of Armando Broja among the key issues to sort. Fulham are interested in the striker, but the sticking point appears to be his asking price - thought to be £50m, whether that is this month or as an obligation. to buy in the summer following a loan spell.

Conor Gallagher's name is also likely to come up, but the midfielder looks increasingly unlikely to leave Stamford Bridge - news which will no doubt delight most Chelsea fans.

Elsewhere, we are expecting Morgan Rogers to complete his move from Middlesbrough to Aston Villa, while another Championship to Premier League switch could be happening with Adam Wharton to Crystal Palace from Blackburn.
