West Ham United complete the signing of Jarrod Bowen from Hull City in a deal which could reportedly rise to £22m.

West Ham United have completed the signing of Jarrod Bowen from Hull City in a deal understood to be worth up to £22m.

The 23-year-old arrived at West Ham's training ground to undergo a medical at around lunchtime on deadline day, but talks stalled over personal terms between the player and the club.

Bowen was thought to be demanding £60,000-a-week wages, which West Ham were happy to agree to as long as the deal included a clause which saw those wages halved should they suffer relegation this season.

However, they have now agreed terms on a move which is understood to include an initial fee of £14m plus up to £8m in add-ons.

Bowen, who scored 16 goals and created seven more in 29 Championship outings for Hull this season, becomes West Ham's third signing of the month after Darren Randolph and Tomas Soucek. body check tags ::
