Premier League trio in race to sign Aleksandar Dragovic?

West Ham United, Everton and Brighton & Hove Albion are all believed to be tracking Bayer Leverkusen defender Aleksandar Dragovic.

West Ham United, Everton and Brighton & Hove Albion are all believed to be tracking Bayer Leverkusen defender Aleksandar Dragovic.

The centre-back, who made 17 appearances while on loan at Leicester City last season, is reportedly keen on securing a permanent transfer to England next season.

The Mirror says that Leicester, who have signed Jonny Evans from West Brom, are unlikely to keep the 27-year-old, which could allow the three Premier League clubs to swoop for his signature.

Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini has already signed Issa Diop and Ryan Fredericks this summer, but could add the Austrian international to his ranks, while the Toffees and Chris Hughton's side have also registered their interest in the player.

Dragovic, who joined his current employers from Dynamo Kiev in 2016, has been capped 63 times by his country.
