David Moyes pleased with West Ham United attitude against Manchester United

David Moyes is pleased with his West Ham United charges for claiming a point against Manchester United in Thursday night's goalless draw at the London Stadium.

David Moyes has hailed his West Ham United charges for claiming a point in a goalless draw against Manchester United on Thursday night.

The Hammers, who clinched Premier League safety last weekend, successfully repelled the Red Devils at the London Stadium, with goalkeeper Adrian making three impressive saves during the game.

The result keeps West Ham 15th in the table and Moyes is eager to see his side finish the season on a high note, with 10th-placed Newcastle United just two points ahead of the East Londoners.

"A good point for us, maybe they will say the same as well," the Scot told BBC Sport. "Our boys showed a great attitude after getting safe at the weekend.

"They were bang at it. We have conceded a lot of goals this season so a clean sheet is great. At this stage of the season you don't get great games. Declan Rice played very well tonight, the boys at the back did a good job. With a bit more care we would have scored on the break.

"Since the Burnley game we have worked hard, we took the players away which is the best thing we have done. We have done okay against the bigger sides at home. We wanted to climb the league table so we will try and win on Sunday. But we have done the job we came to do - we are not relegated."

The Hammers finish the season with a home game against Everton on Sunday.
