West Bromwich Albion caretaker manager Darren Moore calls for unity

West Bromwich Albion caretaker manager Darren Moore calls for unity at the club following Alan Pardew's departure.

West Bromwich Albion caretaker manager Darren Moore has called for unity at the beleaguered club following the departure of manager Alan Pardew.

The former Baggies defender has set himself the target of restoring togetherness at The Hawthorns between now and the end of the season.

"We've always bounced back before and that's what we will do again," BBC Sport quotes Moore as saying.

"West Bromwich Albion has always been a family for me. And that's the word I shall focus on - family.

"We need to get the unity back among everyone - the players, the staff, the fans, everyone connected with Albion, because that is the only way forward."

Pardew was dismissed by West Brom after a run of 10 league matches without a win and the club seven points adrift at the foot of the table.

The Midlands outfit are not expected to appoint a new permanent head coach until the end of the season.
