Marco Silva "very satisfied" with Watford win over Bournemouth

Watford boss Marco Silva reveals his satisfaction after goals from Richarlison and Etienne Capoue hand the club victory over Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Watford coach Marco Silva has told of his satisfaction after his side picked up their first win of the Premier League season with a 2-0 victory over Bournemouth this afternoon.

Silva was able to celebrate the first three points of his career as Hornets manager on Saturday, as second-half goals from Richarlison and Etienne Capoue saw Watford past a rather tame Bournemouth side at Dean Court.

"I am very satisfied. It was a very good game between two teams who played to win the match. Congrats to our players, they did everything I wanted and we showed great character and attitude again," said Silva, according to BBC Sport.

"It was a balanced game in the first half and in the second half were were better.

"We had a very good second half, we controlled it and had lots of chances to score and we deserved the three points. Our fans kept pushing us and the three points are for them as well.

"We had character and confidence and I'm happy. But it is only three points, we need to rest and analyse to prepare for the next match."

Watford have now collected four points from a possible six following their first two games of the new campaign.
