Tottenham Hotspur pushing hard to offload Victor Wanyama?

:Headline: Tottenham Hotspur pushing hard to offload Victor Wanyama?:
Tottenham Hotspur reportedly remain keen to find a buyer for midfielder Victor Wanyama before the end of the January window.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly pushing hard to part ways with midfielder Victor Wanyama on deadline day.

With Gedson Fernandes having arrived from Benfica and Jose Mourinho allegedly looking for another central midfielder, it leaves Wanyama with little chance of any game time during the second half of the campaign.

According to the Daily Mail, a number of clubs are showing an interest in the Kenya international ahead of the end of the January window.

The report says that Fiorentina and Bayer Leverkusen are monitoring the situation as they bid to move up the Serie A and Bundesliga tables respectively.

Meanwhile, Rennes and Strasbourg are also said to be admirers of the 28-year-old, who may be able to earn more minutes with either of the Ligue 1 clubs.

Spurs are likely to be open to permanent and loan proposals in order to reduce their wage bill. body check tags ::
