Tottenham Hotspur 'shelve plans to loan out Ryan Sessegnon'

:Headline: Tottenham Hotspur 'shelve plans to loan out Ryan Sessegnon':
Tottenham Hotspur reportedly intend to keep Ryan Sessegnon at the club in January, rather than loan the left-sided player to another Premier League club.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly shelved plans to loan out Ryan Sessegnon during the January transfer window.

As a result of a hamstring injury, Sessegnon has been limited to just two substitute outings since joining the club from Fulham before the start of the season.

Newly-appointed boss Jose Mourinho had been considering a temporary spell elsewhere for the 19-year-old to hand him more first-team football.

However, The Sun claims that the ankle injury sustained by Ben Davies has led to a change of plan behind the scenes.

With Davies likely to be out until the start of 2020, Sessegnon will now act as deputy to Danny Rose at left-back for the foreseeable future.
