Harry Kane back in light training

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane posts a workout video suggesting that he is making a quick recovery from an ankle injury.

Tottenham Hotspur frontman Harry Kane has revealed that he is back in light training as he continues to recover from an ankle injury.

The 25-year-old has been ruled out until March after damaging his ankle ligaments in Spurs' loss to Manchester United this month and is currently undergoing a specialist rehabilitation programme in the USA.

The striker could be back in action sooner than expected, however, after a training video posted to social media appeared to show him making good progress with his recovery.

In the video, Kane is seen performing a number of ankle-strengthening exercises and drills, including some light running. The player accompanied the clip with the caption: "Getting stronger every day. Lots more work to do."

Kane is the 14-goal top scorer this season for Spurs, who currently sit third in the Premier League table.
