  • Real Sociedad 'pull out of Donny van de Beek talks'

Real Sociedad have reportedly withdrawn their interest in out-of-favour Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek.

The Dutchman's forgettable Old Trafford spell is expected to come to an end this summer, as he will seemingly not reignite his career under ex-Ajax boss Erik ten Hag.

Sociedad quickly established themselves at the head of the queue for Van de Beek's signature, and talks were believed to have been progressing along nicely.

However, according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo - via the Manchester Evening News - Imanol Alguacil's side have now had a change of heart.

Kepa 'verbally agrees loan move to Real Madrid'

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has reportedly agreed to join Real Madrid on loan for the 2023-24 campaign.

Los Blancos were not initially planning to sign a new goalkeeper this summer, as Thibaut Courtois remains Carlo Ancelotti's undisputed number one.

However, Real's plans in that department were thrown into disarray earlier this week, as Courtois suffered a devastating anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture in a training session.

The Belgian's injury could potentially see him miss the entirety of the season, and his deputy Andriy Lunin stepped up to keep a clean sheet in Saturday's opening La Liga win over Athletic Bilbao.

Chelsea 'on verge of completing £115m Moises Caicedo signing'

Chelsea are reportedly on the cusp of completing a deal to sign Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo for a record-breaking £115m fee.

The 21-year-old has been at the centre of a whirlwind transfer saga over the past 48 hours, as Liverpool and Chelsea have engaged in a fierce head-to-head for his signature.

Chelsea had already failed with two bids for Caicedo before Brighton opened a bidding war on Thursday night, which saw Liverpool enter the fray with a bid of approximately £110m.

Having apparently been given encouragement that Caicedo would be open to a move to Anfield, the Reds agreed a fee with Brighton, which was confirmed by Jurgen Klopp in Friday's press conference.

Man United 'make first contact with Bayern over Benjamin Pavard deal'

Manchester United have allegedly touched base with Bayern Munich to discuss a possible deal for right-back Benjamin Pavard.

The 2018 World Cup winner is out of contract at the Allianz Arena in 2024 and is not thought to have any plans to sign a new deal with the Bundesliga champions.

As a result, Pavard will be free to open pre-contract discussions with foreign teams in January and leave Bayern for nothing at the end of the current campaign should no resolution be reached.

Instead, Thomas Tuchel's side could look to part ways with the 27-year-old for a relatively modest fee this summer, and Man United are believed to be at the head of the queue for his services.

Xavi refuses to rule out Ansu Fati exit amid Arsenal links

Barcelona head coach Xavi has refused to guarantee that Ansu Fati will remain at Camp Nou for the 2023-24 season amid reports of interest from Arsenal.

Once labelled the heir apparent to Lionel Messi, Fati's Blaugrana career has since been hampered by a number of serious injuries, downgrading him to a bit-part player for Xavi.

All of Raphinha, Gavi and Ferran Torres are also competing for wide starts under Xavi, although Barca have lost former regular Ousmane Dembele to Paris Saint-Germain.

Fati could therefore take on a more prominent role for Barca in the upcoming campaign, and he scored in back-to-back friendly wins over AC Milan and Tottenham Hotspur in pre-season.

Man United 'considering a move for Everton's Onana'

Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a move for Everton midfielder Amadou Onana.

The Red Devils announced on Friday evening that an agreement with Fenerbahce had been reached for the transfer of Fred, who will complete his medical in Istanbul on Saturday afternoon.

Donny van de Beek and Scott McTominay are also heavily being linked with exits, and there will be at least one midfield addition at Old Trafford before the end of the summer transfer window.

Fiorentina's Sofyan Amrabat continues to be linked with a switch to Old Trafford, but it has been claimed that Juventus are now firmly in the race for the Morocco international.

Transfer rumours: Fernandez to Burnley, Cooper to Rangers, Under to Fenerbahce

Burnley are reportedly interested in Manchester United full-back Alvaro Fernandez.

The 20-year-old is back at Old Trafford following a loan spell with Preston North End in the 2022-23 campaign, where he set up six goals in 42 matches across all competitions.

Fernandez played in four of Man United's pre-season friendlies, but he is behind Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia in the left-back pecking order and could move on in search of regular game time.

According to Sky Sports News reporter Lyall Thomas, Burnley have shown an interest in signing the Spanish youngster after witnessing him excel at Deepdale last season.

    Burnley sign Wilson Odobert

"The project here excited me, I really liked it. The manager, the team, the town. I really love it and it's a really good project for me," he told the club website.

"I want to play as much as possible at Burnley. Do as well as I can with the team, stay in the team and play the best I possibly can for the club."

Barcelona 'decide against Foyth move after Villarreal meeting'

Barcelona have reportedly dropped their interest in defender Juan Foyth following a meeting with the Argentina international's club Villarreal.

The Catalan outfit are determined to bring in a new right-back this summer, with the position not being addressed thus far in the transfer market despite their issues last term.

Barcelona head coach Xavi allegedly does not want to use Jules Kounde or Ronald Araujo in that position this season, while Sergino Dest is not in the club's plans moving forward.

Foyth has long been linked with a switch to Camp Nou, as it is believed that senior figures at Barcelona, including their manager, view the 25-year-old as the ideal acquisition.

Kepa Arrizabalaga 'set to join Real Madrid on loan from Chelsea'

Real Madrid are reportedly closing in on the signature of Kepa Arrizabalaga, with the Spain international set to join Carlo Ancelotti's side from Chelsea on a season-long loan.

Los Blancos have lost Thibaut Courtois to a serious knee problem, with the Belgium international likely to be absent for the entire 2023-24 campaign due to the ACL injury that he suffered in training on Thursday.

Andriy Lunin will start Real Madrid's season opener against Athletic Bilbao on Saturday evening, but the Spanish giants need to bring in another stopper before the end of the transfer window.

David de Gea, who is available on a free transfer following his release from Manchester United, was heavily linked with a move to the club towards the end of last week.

Real Madrid 'view Reece James as a long-term target'

Real Madrid reportedly have a long-term interest in Reece James, with Los Blancos keen to bring the Chelsea captain to Bernabeu at some stage in the future.

The 23-year-old came through the youth system at Chelsea and enjoyed a successful loan spell at Wigan Athletic during the 2018-19 campaign before becoming a first-team regular for the Blues.

James has made 147 appearances for his Premier League side, although he was restricted to just 24 outings in all competitions during the 2022-23 campaign due to injury problems.

Cesar Azpilicueta's departure over the summer opened up the captaincy role at Chelsea, and it was recently confirmed that James had been appointed the club's new skipper.

Manchester United to lose out to Juventus for Amrabat?

Juventus are reportedly rivalling Manchester United for the signature of Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

The Morocco international's future is currently the subject of much speculation, with Man United thought to be the favourites to sign him during this summer's transfer window.

The 20-time English champions have now sold Fred to Fenerbahce, which could see them step up their interest in Amrabat in the near future, especially with Donny van de Beek and Scott McTominay also being linked with departures.

Amrabat is believed to be set on a move to Old Trafford despite the likes of Liverpool, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid being credited with an interest in his services.

Mbappe, Neymar, Verratti all left out of PSG squad

Luis Enrique has left Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Marco Verratti out of his Paris Saint-Germain squad for their Ligue 1 opener with Lorient on Saturday night.

The newly-appointed head coach is looking to make a winning start to his reign having replaced Christophe Galtier in the dugout earlier this summer.

However, while the Spaniard has been provided with a wide array of fresh faces at Parc des Princes, there is daily speculation regarding the futures of some of the most notable players in PSG's history.

Mbappe, Neymar and Verratti have all been linked with a transfer elsewhere this summer, the situation regarding the former having threatened to overshadow PSG's pre-season.

Chelsea scrap move for Leeds midfielder Tyler Adams?

Chelsea will reportedly no longer be signing midfielder Tyler Adams from Leeds United.

Head coach Mauricio Pochettino has been determined to add greater top-level experience to the centre of the pitch before the start of the new Premier League campaign.

While the Argentine still has the likes of Enzo Fernandez and Conor Gallagher at his disposal, those efforts have, so far, failed to come to fruition despite the ongoing speculation.

However, over the past 36 hours, there have been significant developments in the race to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton & Hove Albion.

Kepa Arrizabalaga 'interested in Real Madrid transfer'

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is reportedly interested in making the switch to Real Madrid.

With Edouard Mendy having moved to Al-Ahli, Arrizabalaga is currently in line to remain as the number one at Stamford Bridge.

The Spain international featured in the majority of the Blues' friendlies in the United States during the summer and should start against Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.

However, at a time when it appears that Arrizabalaga has been content in West London, it was alleged earlier this week that Chelsea were open to offers for the 28-year-old.

Barcelona 're-open talks over Joao Cancelo deal'

Barcelona have reportedly reopened talks with Manchester City over the signing of defender Joao Cancelo in this summer's transfer window.

The 29-year-old had a difficult 2022-23 term on the blue half of Manchester, being sent out on loan to Bayern Munich for the second half of the campaign as his parent club won a historic treble.

Cancelo did not miss out on silverware completely however, with the Portugal international helping the Bavarian giants to another Bundesliga title ahead of fierce rivals Borussia Dortmund.

The full-back featured 15 times in the Bundesliga for Thomas Tuchel's men - 11 of which came from the start - scoring a single goal and providing four assists during that time.

Arsenal 'put £30m price tag on Takehiro Tomiyasu'

Arsenal have reportedly placed on a £30m price tag on defender Takehiro Tomiyasu, with Serie A side Inter Milan credited with an interest in the player.

The 24-year-old moved to the Emirates from Bologna in August 2021 but failed to cement a regular place in Mikel Arteta's XI during the 2023-24 campaign.

Tomiyasu started just six Premier League matches as the Gunners finished second behind Manchester City, although he did make 15 appearances off the bench for the North Londoners.

The decision of Arteta to use Ben White at right-back for the majority of the season limited the Japan international's minutes, and the defender could be set for a move away this summer.

Manchester City keen on Jeremy Doku move?

Manchester City have reportedly identified Rennes attacker Jeremy Doku as a replacement for the departed Riyad Mahrez in this summer's transfer window.

The 21-year-old enjoyed the most productive campaign of his career to date in 2022-23 in Ligue 1, scoring six goals and providing two assists as his side finished fourth in the French top flight.

Doku also has considerable international pedigree at a young age, having represented Belgium 14 times since making his debut for the Red Devils in August 2020.

The right winger has featured in 90 games for Rennes after making the switch from Belgian Pro League outfit Anderlecht in October 2020, scoring 11 goals in all competitions.

Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of attacker Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona.

The 26-year-old joins the French giants for a fee thought to be worth around €50m (£43.2m), putting pen to paper on a five-year deal that will keep him at the Parc des Princes until 2028.

The deal sees Dembele end his injury-affected time at Camp Nou, which saw him limited to 185 appearances across all competitions over a six-year spell.

The France international made 35 appearances last season, scoring eight goals to take his overall tally of goals for the Catalan outfit to 40 in all competitions.

Tottenham confirm Harry Kane move to Bayern Munich

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that all-time record goalscorer Harry Kane has left the club to join German champions Bayern Munich.

The England captain departs for the Allianz Arena for a reported initial fee of £100m, which could rise to as much as £120m with performance-related add-ons, potentially making him the most expensive British player in history.

Kane has signed a four-year contract with Thomas Tuchel's side, and he will wear the number nine shirt for the Bundesliga holders ahead of his potential debut against RB Leipzig in Saturday's German Super Cup clash.

The striker had entered the final year of his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and would have been eligible to leave on a free transfer in 2024, although chairman Daniel Levy initially refused to entertain bids in the hope that both parties would eventually come to an agreement over fresh terms.
