Tottenham Hotspur have named Ugo Ehiogu as the new manager of their Under-21 side.

The former Aston Villa and Middlesbrough defender has been working within the club's Academy on a part-time basis, but has now been handed a permanent role.

Ehiogu, 41, will be assisted by former Academy player Matthew Wells, who will step up from his coaching position at Under-15 level.

Tottenham's Under-21 side will play their fixtures at Stevenage's Lamex Stadium next season.
