Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has denied suggestions that he is involved in an internal 'battle' with the club's board.
Zidane, whose side trail La Liga leaders Barcelona by 19 points, previously outlined that new additions to his squad were unnecessary despite the club's poor form.
Los Blancos were reportedly close to signing Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, before the stopper penned a new deal with his current employers.
Former Madrid forward Zidane has denied a rift between himself and the board at the Santiago Bernabeu, saying that his only focus is on the current crop of players.
"I said the other day that if the strategy of the club wants it, then all players can come in June," the Frenchman told The Express. "But my idea for the club – and we're working together – is not to change things at the moment and that's all.
"It bothers me a little when I hear comments saying that I've 'won the battle'. My main worry is my players and what they do at Real Madrid; the rest isn't my business and doesn't affect me. You know how it is, I face [the media], explain to you my way of thinking.
"The important thing is that my philosophy is that I'm with my players - they're the important ones, the ones here."
Madrid play Leganes on Wednesday evening in the second leg of their Copa del Rey meeting, having notched a 1-0 aggregate lead from the first leg.
