Toni Kroos: 'Real Madrid will overcome wobble'

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos insists that his team will overcome their recent problems, having embarked on a four-game winless run in all competitions.

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has insisted that his team will overcome their recent problems, which has seen the club embark on a four-game winless run in all competitions.

Los Blancos started the 2018-19 campaign in impressive fashion, but have not been victorious since September 22, and have lost three of their last four matches in all competitions.

Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Alaves followed a 1-0 reverse away to CSKA Moscow in the Champions League, and the European champions have been heavily criticised this term.

Kroos, however, has insisted that Madrid are used to dealing with difficult situations, and is confident that his team will come out the other side.

"Two weeks of disappointing results, games and also bad luck. We deserved more points because we didn't play that bad - but it is what it is," Kroos posted on Twitter. "Don't forget we also had these moments in the past three years... Will be a great challenge to stand up again! Hala Madrid!"

Madrid will return to La Liga action at home to Levante after the international break, and will also take on Viktoria Plzen and Barcelona before the end of the month.
