Unai Emery: 'Grzegorz Krychowiak to leave Paris Saint-Germain'

Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery reveals that Polish midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak is available for transfer in this summer's window.

Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery has revealed that midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak has been placed on the transfer list.

Emery managed the Poland international at Sevilla between 2014 and 2016, and upon his arrival in Paris last summer, signed the 27-year-old from his former club in a £30m deal.

Krychowiak struggled to make his mark during the 2016-17 campaign, however, starting just seven Ligue 1 matches.

Emery has confirmed that the experienced midfielder will be allowed to leave the French giants in this summer's transfer window, which has put a number of European clubs on red alert.

"I have already spoken with [Krychowiak]. The best option is that he leaves, he hasn't adapted to the team," Emery told reporters. "He is a quality player who is able to play in a great team, it's better that he finds another team where the style of play suits him better."

Krychowiak started his professional career with French side Bordeaux.
