Sports Mole looks at how Portugal could line up in their Euro 2024 qualification future with Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to get the nod at the tip of the Portugal attack once again for Saturday's Euro 2024 qualification fixture against Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The 38-year-old's future with the national side was in doubt at the end of the 2022 World Cup, but he was named in new manager Roberto Martinez's first squad in March.

Ronaldo hit a brace against Liechtenstein before netting another two against Luxembourg three days later, and it will therefore be tough for Martinez to leave him out of the side.

Goncalo Ramos had an excellent 2022-23 campaign for Benfica but is likely to be on the bench alongside the likes of Rafael Leao and Diogo Jota, demonstrating the team's options in the final third.

Indeed, Joao Felix and Bernardo Silva are expected to play alongside Ronaldo in attack, while there could be two Manchester United players in the XI in the shape of Diogo Dalot and Bruno Fernandes.

Joao Palhinha had a brilliant season at Fulham and could feature in central midfield, while Benfica's in-demand teenager Antonio Silva is likely to play in a back three.

Nuno Mendes is a notable absentee from the squad through injury, which is expected to open the door to Raphael Guerreiro to start as the left-sided wing-back in the Group J fixture.

Portugal possible starting lineup: Patricio; A Silva, Dias, Danilo; Dalot, Palhinha, Fernandes, Guerreiro; B Silva, Ronaldo, Felix body check tags ::
