Saturday's Chelsea transfer talk news roundup: Olivier Giroud, Sergio Ramos, Ollie Watkins

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Chelsea on Saturday, November 21.

The summer transfer window has now closed, with Chelsea among the busiest clubs and biggest spenders in world football.

After two windows without signing a single player, the Blues made up for lost time by splashing well over £200m on the likes of Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Edouard Mendy and Thiago Silva. Attention will now switch to the January window and whether Chelsea will invest heavily again.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Stamford Bridge.

Saturday morning's Chelsea transfer talk news roundup:

Premier League big six 'all interested in Sergio Ramos'

Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are all reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid centre-back Sergio Ramos.

The 34-year-old's existing deal at the Bernabeu is due to expire next June and as it stands he would be free to discuss terms with foreign clubs at the start of 2021.

Ramos is believed to want a two-year extension with Los Blancos, but it remains to be seen whether the Spanish champions are prepared to offer more than a 12-month deal.

According to 90min, the Premier League's big six clubs - Liverpool, City, United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham - have all contacted the Spaniard's representatives to express their interest.

The report claims that all six are considering the possibility of bringing him to England, but Ramos would have to signal that he wants to move to the Premier League.

The experienced defender has scored 100 goals in 660 appearances for Madrid, winning five La Liga titles and four Champions League crowns since arriving from Sevilla in 2005.

Olivier Giroud's agent hints at January exit for Chelsea forward

Olivier Giroud's agent has admitted that he will look to move the Chelsea striker on during the January transfer window unless his client's playing situation improves in the coming weeks.

The 34-year-old has been restricted to just 33 minutes of Premier League football this season, while he has managed just one goal in six appearances in all competitions.

France boss Didier Deschamps has warned Giroud that he must earn more game time at club level in order to ensure that he remains an important player for the national team ahead of Euro 2020.

The forward's agent Michael Manuello has now addressed the situation and has admitted that a move will be on the cards at the start of 2021 unless something changes in the near future.

"Effectively, since the start of September, things have changed but what has not changed is his capacity to play matches for France, contrary to what was said by certain others," Manuello told FootMercato.

"There have been €150m (£134m) worth of players bought. But at the same time you'd be blind not to see that Frank Lampard has decided to put Tammy Abraham ahead of him. It is not frankly fair when you look at what Olivier did at the end of the season. But he (Lampard) has the right, it is his choice.

"So effectively if things continue like this, in December we will find ourselves where we were in December 2019. Things have happened in the last five months. We cannot just look at the last two months and be forgetful about the three years that came before it. But we have to be honest and if this continues, we will have to, first and foremost for him, experience other emotions."

Giroud is believed to be a January transfer target for Italian giants Inter Milan.
