Saturday morning's Arsenal transfer talk news roundup:
Manchester United, Arsenal 'battling for Sergio Ramos'
Manchester United and Arsenal are reportedly contemplating an approach for Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.
Given his legendary status at the Bernabeu, Los Blancos officials are keen for the 34-year-old to extend his stay at the club.
However, Real have endured a disappointing start to the season, resulting in contract discussions between the relevant parties still to reach a positive conclusion.
According to Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda, United and the Gunners are tempted to make a move for the veteran defender in 2021.
With Ramos able to hold discussions with foreign clubs in January, Juventus and AC Milan are also said to be monitoring the situation.
Ramos, who has made 10 starts this season, has not featured for Real since November 8 due to injury.
Arsenal 'interested in Istanbul Basaksehir midfielder Berkay Ozcan'
Arsenal are reportedly interested in bringing Istanbul Basaksehir midfielder Berkay Ozcan to England.
The 22-year-old joined Basaksehir on a permanent deal during the recent transfer window, having spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan with the Turkish outfit from Hamburger SV.
Ozcan has been a vital player for Okan Buruk's side during the current season, already making 15 appearances in all competitions, including five outings in the Champions League.
According to Transfermarkt, the midfielder's performances this term have caught the attention of Arsenal.
The report claims that the Gunners first tracked Ozcan in 2017 when he played for Stuttgart and could now attempt to bring him to the Emirates Stadium.
The three-time Turkey international has a contract with his Istanbul club until June 2024.
