Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Chelsea on Monday, November 23.

The summer transfer window has now closed, with Chelsea among the busiest clubs and biggest spenders in world football.

After two windows without signing a single player, the Blues made up for lost time by splashing well over £200m on the likes of Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Edouard Mendy and Thiago Silva. Attention will now switch to the January window and whether Chelsea will invest heavily again.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Stamford Bridge.

Monday morning's Chelsea transfer talk news roundup:

Manchester United 'are weighing up Christian Eriksen move'

Manchester United are allegedly weighing up the possibility of moving for Inter Milan attacker Christian Eriksen during the January transfer window.

The Denmark international has largely struggled to impress for Antonio Conte's side since arriving from Tottenham Hotspur in the early stages of 2020.

The 28-year-old has not scored or registered an assist in seven outings in all competitions this term, while he has managed just four goals and three assists in 33 games for Inter since his arrival.

A recent report claimed that United are considering a January move for the attacker, who could be available for a fee in the region of £18m.

According to Corriere dello Sport, there is genuine interest from the 20-time English champions, while Chelsea are also believed to be closely monitoring the developments surrounding the playmaker.

Eriksen scored 69 goals and registered 89 assists in 305 appearances for Spurs during his time in England before seeking pastures new.

Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus have also recently been credited with an interest in the Dane.

Patrice Evra: 'West Ham United know that Declan Rice will leave'

West Ham United "know" that they will be forced to sell Declan Rice in the near future, according to former Manchester United captain Patrice Evra.

Rice has been in excellent form for the Hammers during the 2020-21 campaign and is expected to be a key player for England at next summer's European Championships.

Chelsea were strongly linked with their former youngster over the summer, and it is thought that the Blues will again attempt to sign him in either January or at the end of the 2020-21 campaign.

Evra has said that David Moyes's side will already be aware that keeping the 21-year-old is an impossible task due to the interest in his services.

"Moyes has given him the captaincy, so for me, it symbols the future of West Ham. It's not easy to put Mark Noble on the bench," Evra told Sky Sports News.

"They know they are going to lose him, because many big clubs are interested in Declan, but right now, he's the man of West Ham. I'm not surprised.

"I knew this player would never allow his head to get bigger because he's so focused and so humble, and you can see him smiling - he's happy, what a joy. I'm very pleased for him."

Rice has a contract at the London Stadium until the summer of 2024.
