Manchester United agree Juventus deal for Matteo Darmian?

Manchester United reportedly agree to sell Italian defender Matteo Darmian to Juventus for a fee of £12m.

Manchester United and Juventus have reportedly come to an agreement over a fee for defender Matteo Darmian.

Throughout the campaign, Darmian has been linked with a return to Italy after falling down the pecking order at Old Trafford since the arrival of Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese is also looking to reshuffle his options at full-back and according to Gazzetta dello Sport, that has resulted in a deal of £12m being agreed by both parties.

According to the report, Juventus will hand Darmian - who has previously represented AC Milan, Palmero and Torino in Serie A - a five-year contract.

The 28-year-old will leave United having made 85 appearances in all competitions, and the Premier League giants are allegedly hoping to replace the player with Juventus's Alex Sandro.

However, earlier this week, it was suggested that the Brazilian international was open to penning a new contract in Turin.
