Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly monitoring Lyon striker Moussa Dembele after it was confirmed that Harry Kane will miss at least three months due to a hamstring injury.

Kane limped off during Spurs' New Year's Day defeat to Southampton and may not return before the end of the Premier League season.

According to Goal, Spurs are considering a move for Dembele, who has 10 Ligue 1 goals so far this season.

The report adds that Chelsea and Manchester United have also shown an interest in the former Fulham and Celtic man, but Lyon are determined not to lose one of their prized assets during January.

Dembele joined Lyon from Celtic in the summer of 2018 and has scored 33 goals in 73 appearances for the French giants.

The 23-year-old has played for France at youth level on more than 50 occasions and has scored 13 goals at under-21 level.
