Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has reportedly decided to demand close to £200m if Manchester United increase their attempts to sign Harry Kane.

Over the weekend, it was claimed that United boss Jose Mourinho would prefer to sign Kane over attempting to bring Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford.

United would have to almost double the world transfer record in order to sign the Portuguese superstar and according to The Telegraph, Spurs have placed a similar price-tag on Kane.

Despite the money which may be on offer for the 23-year-old, it has been suggested that Spurs have no intention of parting ways with a player who has finished as the Premier League's top goalscorer over the past two campaigns.

Kane has also never shown any desire to leave the North London club and with five years still remaining on his contract, Spurs have no immediate concerns that he will look for a move elsewhere.

In the last three years, Kane has scored 94 goals in all competitions for Spurs, while he has also netted eight times for England.
