Luke Shaw considering future at Manchester United?

Luke Shaw will reportedly consider handing in a transfer request at Manchester United after Jose Mourinho's latest criticism of his performances.

Defender Luke Shaw has reportedly decided to consider his long-term future at Manchester United after Jose Mourinho criticised his performance against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday evening.

Shaw was substituted at half time of the 2-0 win in the FA Cup quarter-finals, with Mourinho claiming that the left-back had not been playing to the instructions given to him.

Since Saturday evening's game, reports have suggested that the pair had been involved in a 'training ground bust-up', while it has been claimed that a number of United players have been left surprised by the 'bullying' of the England international.

In the latest development, a source has told Sky Sports News that the treatment of Shaw is an "absolute disgrace" and "disgusting", while claiming that the 22-year-old is debating whether to try to leave Old Trafford.

The source is quoted as saying: "Mourinho's treatment of Luke is an absolute disgrace. If he has a problem with him, the decent thing to do would be to keep it in-house. If this kind of abuse happened in any other workplace, there would be a case for constructive dismissal. It's disgusting.

"A few weeks ago, Mourinho was praising him, now he can't do anything right. Luke's a strong lad and he won't let Mourinho ruin his life. He'll consider his future in the summer and is still determined to be part of the England squad heading for Russia."

Shaw has made just 15 appearances for United in all competitions this season.
