Manchester United have reportedly told five players that they can depart Old Trafford on loan this month, including the excluded Jadon Sancho.

A myriad of reports have stated that Sancho will rejoin his former club Borussia Dortmund on a straight six-month loan deal in the coming days.

The details of the deal are not yet clear though, but it is expected that Man United will still pay some of his wages, and that there will not be an option or an obligation to buy in the summer.

Sancho publicly fell out with United manager Erik ten Hag earlier this season, after the two exchanged blows regarding the player's performance levels in training.

Since the incident, Sancho has been banished from the United squad and not played a part in any of the club's first-team matches.

While Sancho's departure appears imminent, he may not be the only player to leave Old Trafford in the coming weeks though.

The Mirror claims that, along with Sancho, Facundo Pellistri and youngsters Dan Gore and Joe Hugill will also be allowed to leave on loan.

Pellistri is the one player who has had plenty of exposure in the first team this season, making 14 appearances across all competitions.

The Uruguayan is not a regular with the Red Devils though, as his last start came in the 1-0 home defeat to Crystal Palace in September.

Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and Antony are all above the 22-year-old in the pecking order at United, so that could see him go out on loan to gain more minutes for the rest of the season.

Pellistri has previously had two loan spells at La Liga club Alaves, where he made 35 appearances between 2021 and 2022, and the report states that options are being explored again.

Gore and Hugill have both been among the substitutes in some of United's recent fixtures, but the club will listen to loan offers for the duo in hopes of enhancing their development in the coming weeks.

Fabrizio Romano has also claimed that Hannibal Mejbri will leave United on loan during the winter window, but his final destination is not yet clear.

Sevilla were the initial front-runners, but Romano claims that Everton are attempting to hijack a move for the young Tunisian.

The following day, speaking to The United Stand, Romano then revealed that a decision on Hannibal's future will be made this week.

Like Pellistri, Hannibal has made many substitute appearances for Man United this season, but none of those have come in the Premier League. body check tags ::
