Declan Rice insists he is happy at West Ham United and is fully committed to the club, despite speculation linking him with a move to either Manchester United or Chelsea.

It has previously been reported that the Red Devils and the Blues are expected to register their interest in the 22-year-old – who is valued at around £90m – ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

However, the academy graduate is enjoying his time at the London Stadium, regularly wearing the captain's armband while Mark Noble occupies the bench, and believes supporters would recognise a decline in form if he was distracted by speculation.

Speaking to the press ahead of West Ham's Europa League clash against Rapid Vienna on Thursday, Rice said: "Everyone knows how I feel about West Ham, how I feel about playing for the manager.

"You can see in my performances nothing's up, nothing's concerning me. I'm playing with a smile on my face, I'm going out there, I'm leading the team. I think you could see a difference if I wasn't going out there and giving 100% but every time I'm putting on the shirt – I've got the armband on at the moment – my only objective is to go out there and give everything for the club and get three points.

"With tomorrow night on the horizon, the only thought on my mind is to go out there and put on a performance for the fans and get the win."

Rice has made 152 appearances across all competitions for West Ham and has also featured 26 times for the England national team. body check tags ::
