Report: Chelsea not giving up on Juventus full-back Alex Sandro

A report claims that long-term Chelsea target Alex Sandro could still be on his way out of Juventus next year, despite signing a new long-term deal.

Juventus full-back Alex Sandro reportedly remains a target for Chelsea, despite committing his future to the Italian champions earlier this week.

The 27-year-old, a long-term target for the Blues, is believed to have penned a new deal to keep him tied down to Juve until 2023.

Tuttosport suggests that the fresh terms do not guarantee that the Brazilian defender will stay on at the Allianz Stadium, though, and Chelsea will attempt to lure him to the Premier League next year.

Sandro is also rumoured to be on Manchester United's radar, while an unnamed English side are said to be prepared to offer him a lucrative contract worth £9m.

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri confirmed at Friday's press conference that he intends to bring in at least one new player in January.
